Our Training Philosophy: Learn the Why, then Master the How.

At Eastside Athletics, education is woven into every session. Your trainer doesn’t just count reps,  they teach you to understand your body, your program, and the principles that create lasting change. We want you to understand:

  • Why does it matter for your long-term health?

  • How to execute safely and correctly. 

Our hope is to build  self-reliance, not dependency. We want you to do more than ust get stronger physically. We want you to develop the clarity and confidence to train with purpose for the rest of your life.

Level 1: Foundation & Mastery

For your first phase with us, we focus on mastery — the quality of your movement, the consistency of your routine, and the understanding behind every exercise. You’ll learn:

  • Movement fundamentals

  • Breathing, bracing, and tempo

  • Strength progression models

  • Correct  technique

  • How training affects body composition and longevity

This is where your jounrey begins.  With education, intention, and ownership.

Level 2: The Self-Reliant Athlete

Once you’ve built competency, you transition into Level 2 — a hybrid program designed to decrease reliance on in-person sessions while still accelerating your progress.

This phase includes:

  • Personalized remote training

  • Weekly “homework” workouts

  • Progressive strength blocks

  • Lifestyle and performance coaching

Many of our Level 2 clients continue to train with us inperson, however, uur goal is for you to feel fully capable of training anywhere. With or without a coach beside you.
